Introducing myself...
My name is Saskia van Dijk.
I have a husband and 3 daughters.
In March 2020, during a lockdown, I became addicted to photography.
And now I photograph everything that I see around me.
At the moment my interest is mainly in macro photography. The world of macro is a special world. Because everything is very close and magnified, I can see things that I have never seen before.
I also want to develop in other areas of photography. There is still so much to learn and discover.
Why this website?
To be honest I doubted whether a website was necessary. After all, I have nothing to sell. Just pictures to show.
But what convinced me was that I was often asked on Instagram and Twitter if I also had a website. Apparently people enjoy looking at my photos.
And I'm very happy about that because I want to show how beautiful our world is and that we should be careful with it.
And if I can contribute to that consciousness, I will do so with love and lots of pleasure.
